Preparatory Education: Decatur Community High School, Oberlin Kansas 1967; Bachelor of Science Phillips University Enid Oklahoma 1971, Christian Education & Sociology. Graduate Education: Master of Science Fort Hays State University, Hays Kansas 1993 Mental Health Counseling; additional graduate study, Phillips Graduate Seminary, Enid, Oklahoma. Ordained minister Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (Kansas).

History: Retired minister after serving churches from 1970 to 1989 in Kansas, Oklahoma and Nebraska. Colby Community College adjunct instructor 1989-1993. Full time behavioral and humanities instructor 1993-present. Social Science Division Chair August 2001.

Hobbies: NASCAR (doesn’t look like the racing circle type?) Photography, grandkids, James, John & Aly and of course Shih Tsu doggie “Reverend Grapes” Married over 40 years to Marie.

Currently Teaching: Abnormal Psychology, Social Psychology, Ethics, Philosophy, Sociology of Family, Death & Dying, and World Religions.
